Making you feel at home
I’ve always loved helping people feel at home, wherever they’re from. Because let’s be honest: settling into a new country becomes so much easier when you actually understand what’s being said at the supermarket, the bus stop, or when ordering your first proper Dutch pancake.
Why I started STUDEO-NT2
I wanted to create a place where learning Dutch is practical, friendly, and yes… even fun. We’ll tackle tricky grammar together, laugh about typisch Dutch expressions, and celebrate every small win along the way.
More than just a language
For me, learning a language isn’t about memorizing endless word lists. It’s about becoming part of a new community. That’s what I aim to create:
a warm, supportive space where Dutch slowly stops feeling confusing… and starts to feel like home.
Excuse me, but your name again?
The name STUDEO-NT2 comes from the Classical Latin word studeo, which means “to study,” “to be eager for,” or “to devote oneself to something.” I chose this name because it reflects the spirit of learning Dutch in a personal and engaged way. Just like the word suggests, my lessons are about curiosity, commitment, and enthusiasm. Creating a space where you can explore, practice, and grow at your own pace, with support, humor, and confidence.

💡....that STUDEO-NT2 lessons sometimes include learning Dutch through hilarious idioms, like “de aap komt uit de mouw” (literally: the monkey comes out of the sleeve!)? What do you think it means?
💡....that I started STUDEO-NT2 because I believe learning Dutch should be like a conversation over coffee: relaxed, personal, and sometimes with a laugh at a silly grammar mistake?
